Youssef Amri is the founder and chief executive of Nexus Markets International. Operating from the company's Abu Dhabi headquarters on Al Reem Island, he leads a trading house that spans e-commerce, offshore trade, agriculture and general commerce across the Gulf, Africa, Europe and Asia.
With a Franco-Arab background bridging North Africa, the Gulf and Europe, Youssef built Nexus Markets around a conviction that trade should be direct, documented and personal. He works hands-on with producers, buyers and logistics partners to structure transactions that hold up commercially and legally on both sides of the deal.
Under his leadership, Nexus Markets International has grown into a discreet but active bridge between origin markets and demand centers — sourcing agricultural commodities, moving container volumes, and opening cross-border retail channels for partners who value long-term relationships over one-off wins.
